Our founding and philosophy
The Scriabin Club was founded in November 2020 in the Netherlands by Martin Kaptein as the successor to the European Scriabin Society. From the outset it set out to be more than a traditional composer society: Martin believes that Scriabin’s music and ideas hold enormous potential for today’s world.
To realize that potential the Club takes a holistic approach, bringing together people from every background who share a love of Alexander Scriabin’s art. Guided by this vision, the Club aims not only to celebrate Scriabin but to use his legacy as a catalyst for creativity and positive change worldwide.
